HI and welcome, mforrests. There is actually a great food court on the top floor of Galleries Lafayette ~ lots of choice, a wine dispenser and great views of Paris. Jo

I walked to Place du Marche St Honore which according to google maps is 850 meters from Galeries Lafayette. There are a few restaurants there. I ate at Cafe Bennett. There's also Fuxia, which has Italian cuisine. I ate at their location in les Batignolles and it was very good.

A wine dispenser?! That is great and something we wouldn't see here in a department store! Welcome to the forum Mforrests and sorry I'm no help with a suggestion, just distracted by the thought of wine dispensers

I always feel like a kid in a candy store when there is a wine dispenser! I've seen them in airports too!

I can also attest to Fuxia. Last Spring we also had dinner at the Les Batignolles location.

Beside the obvious attraction of the WINE DISPENSER!!!!..the appeal of these dept. store eateries...BHV also has a good one..is you can compose your meal any way you want...all starters and a few yummy desserts....a good looking main and a few desserts... a nice roll or baguette, cheeses, cafe, and of course the vin!!! ;D

I love the thought of wine dispensers. Sort of like the Australian idea of drive thru beer stores.
All good for the traveling public.
