I'm all packed and ready to head to the airport - excited about being in London for the wedding - I just need all of you to do a "reverse" rain dance as the forecast is for showers in London on Friday!!! We do so want to see the newlyweds in the open carriage so keep your fingers crossed that it won't be pouring down rain - and of course so that we don't get soaked too!!

I think rain on the wedding day brings good luck, if I remember correctly that is.
Have fun.

Don't worry about it, just look at the forecast on Thursday, they may have a better idea then. What shows on the charts at the moment is that you will have a cold easterly wind which may carry a little rain OR it may be sunny. Just keep your fingers crossed and remember the layers and a waterproof.

Suzanne's right. Rain on your wedding day is good luck. On the other hand, your fascinator will get soggy... never a good thing! I just know you and Denise are going to have a great adventure! I'm so envious. I'll be looking for you ladies in the crowd on Friday morning. I made the suggestion to Denise that you should carry a big white sheet with HI HAPPY on it, so I could find you easily, but she declined. Anyway, have a wonderful time and keep a detailed mental diary so you can file a report on your return.

How exciting to be there when history is made. Enjoy, and I hope you can stay dry!
Mom, sis and I will be sitting in front of the TV with scones and a pot of tea (to keep us awake!).
