Check out Clotilde Dusolier's Bon Appetit article. This is actually good for me as big evening meals have not been good for me lately. Now, I have places to go in the early evening to have some wine and little bites - my "happy hour" places for the next trip. www.bonappetit.com/magazine/2011/03/paris_travel_guide

From 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m., there's an all-you-can-eat buffet—shellfish from the Breton shore, terrines and crudités, country-style desserts—with house-made crusty bread
My God...the all-you-can-eat has arrived en Pareeee. What next, Fluffernutters at crepe stands??

Happy - that one I'm not interested in.... I wonder how it will be received in Paris?
I am more interested in Camdeborde's and Drouant. I had dinner in Strasbourg with my oldest (when she was residing there) before Wasserman moved to Drouant and still haven't made it to his Paris place. We almost had a GTG there but they wanted some ridiculous fee for the room. GraceJoan and I had reservations there but we cancelled to go to l'Obe.
Coinstot Vino sounds like a good place for l'heure de l'apero and Aux Deux Amis sounds interesting as well.
If anybody ever tries the Traou-Mad at Chez Casimir, I hope they post here.

I was just so surprised to see it. I would think Parisians are shaking their collective heads and rolling their eyes. OR...will they embrace it and love it? ?? It will be interesting to see how it goes over.
