Wow, what a creative use of space! I especially like the wording "like a cruise ship" ;D You know it will be small!! But it is fab looking, I'm with you!

Oh Penny...those steps scare me. After a few glasses of Champagne I'd fall and break something for sure...of course, maybe I wouldn't feel it ;D

Wow! It definitely takes some imagination to come up with something like that. I like it!
The bathroom can only be behind the frosted glass doors that are behind the TV. It must me really small - the shower is only 4 tiles wide!

Love the look, but those stairs look treacherous! But then I am a bit clumsy. Loft beds always make me wary of sleep walking , and if I had to navigate thise stairs during the night to use the bathroom I'd probably break some part of my body!

We did a loft bedroom once......it's not for me, the queen of nocturnal bathroom trips. I was terrified of missing a step in the dark and hurting myself.
I need the bathroom to be on the same floor as the bedroom, preferably as close as possible!
I do like the look of the apartment, but all those stairs would be a deal breaker for me.

It is adorable! But the shower does look awfully small and I prefer a tub! The steps don't bother me...I've been sleeping in a loft bed for over 20 yrs!! With a ladder!! Good exercise and I've been known to have a glass or two! ;D And never a spill...oops kind of wish I hadn't said that During the Soccer World Cup in Paris we stayed at the Hotel Castiglione. It was the final weekend so hotel rooms were scarce...we waited for the room for a while(but back then 1998 we probably arrived about 10 or 11 and they said come back in an hour..not the blanket 2pm check in "rule" they seem to be sticking to now!! ). they were turning them over very quickly and I think being pretty liberal with assignments as long as the room fir the basic parameters of what you reserved. We got to the room and it was a small square with one mirror tiled wall, a small red fringed "bordello" slipper chair and a full bathroom with tub! We were ready to go kill the desk guy after waiting for this! He had kind of winked and made a comment about "like a honeymoon room"! But there was also a spiral staircase...went up that and there was a big room with a queen sized bed, sitting area, mini bar, half bath(no having to go downstairs in the middle of the night! :)0 and......a balcony that wrapped around the corner...table and chairs out there...view of the Eiffel Tower and the top of the Arch de Triumph!! We had dinner out there on S/O's B'day!!!

This looks very cool. I wonder if the bathroom is through the door to the left of the kitchen sink? At first I thought that was the entrance but the hardware doesn't look right for an entry door. I think the entry door is opposite the kitchen table, but it's a little hard to see. Because the stairs have a rail, that would make me feel sufficiently secure for middle of the night trips to the loo.

Well, I got a prompt reply from the agency but they did not answer my question about the bathroom.
Instead they asked for my travel dates. I emailed back to reiterate I am looking for an answer about the bathroom but no email yet. I won't hold my breath.

You're right about the view from the second one you listed, Denise - lovely and I like that apt a lot - one caveat - no elevator as they stated = "You will feel very much at home in the charming and stylishly furnished 6th floor studio that offers every amenity (except an elevator)." That sure wouldn't work for anyone with any knee problems - not to mention stamina to get up six floors all the time!! Whew! It sure is a great view though!

Thanks Mez- I've looked at a lot of websites that will not even bring back options without a date. But would be nice to know. Where's the bathroom? I do like that it does have very clear pictures. Oh well I can still dream but I gotta win that lottery.

I think the entry door is opposite the kitchen table, but it's a little hard to see. I agree with Mary--I think the bathroom is to the left of the kitchen sink, and the apartment entrance door is across from the table--there is a step and doormat in front of it. I think the frosted glass behind the TV might be a closet. Otherwise, there is no closet elsewhere to hang clothes. And as Geordy pointed out, no windows in the main living area!? It seems very light and bright, but I don't think I'd like not being able to see out unless I go upstairs. It is a cute place, but I think it's quirks would drive me crazy after awhile! Regarding the rates, they do seem very reasonable. They charge a 50% agency fee for stays of a month tho, which ups the ante a bit.
