You know, it's funny...I live about 20 miles west of Boston, and often take the train in for the day. We hang out and shop and eat. I'm always amazed at what an international tourist destination Boston is. Tourists from all around the world are snapping pictures of historically significant things that I take for granted and almost don't even see any more. It's just home to me, so I know what you mean about Canada

The Paris episode was on last night. Adrian Leeds showed the three apartments. I *might* have enjoyed the show, except that I kept thinking, "Hmff, I wonder if this is REALLY for sale"... Is that the one where the bathroom in one of the apartments didn't have walls all the way to the ceiling? The same episode that described one apartment as being in a "lively" neighborhood? Lol, that apartment was immediately above The Frog & Rosbif, where you'd have the unparalleled joy of enlisting the aid if the "lively" neighborhood streetwalkers to help you in your daily battle ti wash away the "lively" vomit left on the sidewalks by the hordes if "lively" drunken Brit football fans at the pub! îÂÂîÂÂ

My word! I completely lost track of this thread and only read Doug's reply from March today. How funny is he?? If you see this, Doug, yes that was the episode. Funny, the things they don't tell you huh??
Thanks Annette. With all the summer reruns, I'll probably tune in...

Shoot, I wanted to watch this show this morning before I leave--I think the 1:30 am showing must be tonight (on July 9) because my DVR recorded a lovely infomercial last night instead But for those of you settling in to watch it at 10:30 tonight, it will be proceeded by a whole string of 6 House Hunters Int'l. set in Paris and France, starting at 8:00!

Darn it, I don't think we get the same shows here in Canada! I did see one on Montmartre on Wednesday, a girl and her mom bought a cute little studio. The only other one I've ever seen on Paris was a family who settled for a semi-detached house in the suburbs due to price and space. Annette, have a wonderful trip! Jo

Thanks Jo! Maybe if you keep watching for it, you'll catch some of these other ones. I saw the one with the tiny studio--Wasn't it about 9 square meters?!!
