Hello,
I have a question.... I'm looking for a place next wednesday night where we can have dinner from ~10pm to midnight, it should be a nice place since it will be my birthday and the only place I can think of is Bofinger, while I liked my experience there, I don't necesarily have to go again in such a short period of time.
Any Ideas?

I'm not much of a late evening diner (drinker, well that's different!) so no suggestions, will leave that to others -- but, happy b-day in advance!

;D
I don't know how late Les Bouquinistes stays open but it is a wonderful place to celebrate.
Le Fumoir does stay open later and if you reserve in the Library Romm, the atmosphere is very nice.
Happy Birthday in advance.

Thanks for the wishes, we'll make the best of it I think I have decided on the Alcazar, Which from what I understand is open until 1 am... The chef formerly working at Taillevents has pretty good reviews and while I'm not very much into modern design, it will give us the possibility to have a drink in the mezzanine before and/or after... I will then try an attempt at a review, maybe it's worth it.

Good thought Kasthor...generally after the ballet or opera we hit one of the big brasseries or Grand Cafes for oysters and such. It would be interesting to hear about another type of late night dining! Have a happy day and let us know!

Hi Kasthor. Another late night place that I haven't tried yet but that has very good reviews is Chez Michel in the 10th (just across the street from Gare Nord). I planned dinner here in April for after a show at Theatre des Bouffes du Nord but then my dear Daughter was to wiped out from our busy day so we skipped the show and dinner. I have had a few late dinners at Brasserie de Suffren (14th) which were all very good and alot of fun. After 9pm this is a purely local crowd enjoying very well prepared traditional food and the Plats du Mer - MMMMMM!! And a third idea, Cafe de la Paix (9th) which is a beautiful Empire dinning room, friendly service and good food. Right across the street from Opera Garnier. Happy Birthday!

Kasthor, I think it's really great that you are selecting a restaurant with the idea to giving us a review of a new place! You're a sweetie!
