My mom and I might take a trip together later this year. Ideally we'd get a one bedroom apartment with a bed that can be split into 2 singles.
Does anyone have any recommendations, even if you've just seen it online but don't know anything more about it.
Or any tips on how to do a specific search?
Thanks!

They seem to be hard to find! You would think 2 singles that could be made into a double would be the best bet for renting! I always wonder too why restaurants and bistros in Paris are closed on a Saturday night!! Seems that would be the busiest

I hve seen that before but I have no idea where. Maybe it will pop into my head. I know we have stayed in hotels that had that.

Janet, I've used vrbo.com. If you set the criteria from low to high bedrooms, it can be a little time consuming, since you have to pretty much check each one. I did find one in the 11th #276082 that has a king size bed that can be separated into 2 singles and has 3 rooms, much better than a plain one room studio Bonne chance

btrflyrfree - an exalt from me for searching on VRBO. The apartment looks good. There are a few on VIP as well. I know I've seen others as I've done my apartment searches.
Thanks again! If I find more I'll post back. Hopefully others will find this helpful.

I believe Gitte stayed there and enjoyed the apartment. Why don't you pm her?

mez, that's 'my' apt! I've stayed there the last two years and I LOVE that apt! Unfortunately, Pierre is selling it to move closer to his son and grandchildren and is no longer renting it. I was heartbroken to learn this.

I was heartbroken to learn this. Well that's disappointing news. It's been on my list for ages and if I had not been able to book SisterEurope's canal view apartment, this would have been next on my list. I am also now heartbroken.

I should have added that, Yes, Gitte is the one who found the apt and she did rent it and really liked it too.

Wonder what the sales price is? It looks like an apartment that would not need a lot of work.

Good thought, holger!!
You're right, it's perfect as it is. I've spent four weeks there and I can't think of one thing that it needs.
Hmmmmm......... wheels are turning!!!
