Holidays in France

hi everyone,

I will go France for some holidays next month, and i'm very excited about it!

i'll first go to Paris to visit some friends, and to do some shopping and some sightseeing!! wouhou!

after that, i will go to Bordeaux to see the coast and to try the French wines!

I stayed at the Hotel Sainte Catherine..listed in the Twenga thread.. a number of years ago. As it says on a pedestrian street and very centrally located...I arrived from Paris late afternoon in the rain so didn't have a chance to walk about much before dinner and decide on a place or an area for dinner. As I left the hotel there were a number of folks checking in so... I just took a left and stumbled into a Place with several restaurant/cafe options!!

Hotel was quite nice..but as I said, this was several years back..met a few folks there who used it for business trips and seemed pleased with the location and service, rooms, etc.
