Hey Guys, New reader to the forum, and I was wondering if you guys would take a look at this apartment for me. I am looking to rent an apartment for my first trip to Paris, and am not sure if this one looks like it is a good area/well priced. www.all-paris-apartments.com/en/paris-apartments/ref_14608/Thanks in advance! redsoxfan027

Looks fantastic, and I do like the location. You should have good transportation options from there. Can I possibly be reading the price right. 43 Euro per person!! So for 2 people they charge 86 Euro ..that would be an exceptionally great price if correct!

Apartment looks fabulous. I don't know the agency but it looks as if they price all their properties by the person. The rate is terrific but cannot tell about security deposits, etc.

When you read the fine print, the price is E172 per night, in low season.

Right, fine print is 43€ per person, based on 4 people staying there, so that's 172€ per night, and that's the low season rate. The apartment is beautiful! Looks new and clean. The nearest metros are 1/4 - 1/3 of a mile jaunt (I prefer to be a little closer), but there's a bus stop for the 94 bus at the corner of Bl. Malesherbes. The 94 bus would whisk you down to Madeleine or Concorde where you can catch the metro to anywhere quickly. There's a Kayser bakery a few doors down, and some cafes and pubs in the area, so that's nice. Looks like a good area to me!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the great responses! I think it looks like a great apartment as well, my only concern is my lack of knowledge with this service. Does anyone have experience with them?
Thanks!

Am I the only one who is thinking that this apartment is a little too good to be true? A 2BR 2BA brand spanking new apartment in central Paris for 43E per person?? Hmmmmm....alarm bells are clanging....or are all the scams out there making me overly cynical?? The apartment LOOKS lovely.
PS. Welcome to the forum, RedSoxFan027. I'm a big Sox fan as well. I live outside Boston.

Happy I thought the same thing! If it's for real it's a great bargain!Even for 2 at 172 E , it would be a super deal!

I scanned TA quickly for reviews, and didn't find much on them at all. The only things, positive or negative, were the first and only post from that poster, so are kinda suspicious. If it were me, I'd probably go with a more tried-and-true agency.

The main bedroom has a double sofa bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. How many American couples sleep in a double bed? Unless, perhaps, the OP is renting this for himself alone?
It appears that to go from any room to any other room, you have to go up or down steps.
It's very stylish but not very practical, imho.

Hey Guys, I completely agree with you. After talking with the GF, we are going to keep looking, the double bed would just be drastic a change from our king . Thanks for all the advice!

After reading the above posts, I went upstairs to measure my bed, confirming what I had thought......that it's 140 cm wide. I am aware of the fact that most Americans prefer larger beds, but I find that a smaller bed has advantages, one of which is: when my husband snores , it's easy for me to reach him and hit him on his back in order to make him stop. ;D

Most rental sites will tell you what size bed is in their property -- 140, 180, etc...
US sheets will fit French beds and vice versa, so it's a bit like A4 vs 8-1/2" x 11" paper -- one's a little longer and the other's a little wider, but they're mostly the same size.
