I recently went to Paris and I found a couple of nice restaurants that weren't too much on the expensive side. One was Bistrot des Comperes, it was your typical french style bistrot, but i found it to be very authentic, very delicious, and very easy on my wallet!
Another one was Gatsby in the 7th. It was a little nicer, but had a nice french/Italian type menu. I definitely recommend these two places. I got them for even cheaper with a special card I got from my concierge. It was thecitycase and I had like 15% one meal and some free champagne... it was a pretty cool deal. When I got home I checked out the website and they sell a lot of stuff, I wish I had known about it beforehand. It's thecitycase.com, I hope that helps! Especially us students on budgets!

I second Shoesy in welcoming you to the OPF. It is always good to have new members posting. Thanks for the recommendations. A lot of us keep adding to our long lists of places to see, to shop and of course, to dine!
