I'm asking for your autograph whenever we meet, Jody!
And then I'm selling it on eBay!

Add another!! I went to Duquesne University with Bobby Vinton, but that was before he was famous. But he did have a band that financed his education and played at several of the college's events!
I missed Michael Jackson by 5 minutes. He was in Orlando performing or going to Disney and was in my friend's antique shop just before I arrived.

Living in NYC I've seen quite a few but don't think I'm at Jody level! And I don't think I've seen any..or noticed ..anywhere but here..not in airports, Paris, other European cities... My Mother's favorites were when I saw soap opera stars! (or any soap opera favorites. That was always the first thing to do at a B'way show...check the bios , see if they listed soap opera credits! ;D ) For me standing next to Derek Jeter waiting to cross the street on a Sat nite(it had been Family Day at the stadium, he was with his Mom, and had just left an ATM) and David Bowie, Iman, and entourage @ Cafe des Artistes(we were waiting for our table @ the bar after the Nutcracker) were highlights! PS.. desperately miss Cafe des Artistes..also saw Maestro James Levine there at "his table" in the bar room after a performance! Ahh..Bobby Vinton..".Roses are Red" and then the "Polish Prince!"

Completely not a fair question for a native Manhattanite as on a good day you can see two or three if you are in the right place. To make the thread go full circle though, I did see Jennifer Aniston many years ago as a young girl in the audience of a broadway show with her father who was/is John Aniston, the soap opera star.

Speaking of Manhattan, I just remembered that I saw Natalie Portman while I was waiting on the Broadway TKTS line several years ago.

My niece, who lives in NYC, used to work at Starbucks near Times Square. She regularly saw all sorts of famous people. She got to the point where she was so blasé about it. She talked to them all the time, and most of them were regular people...at least in Starbucks. (Arnold Palmer...HMFF! Now I just think you're bragging, Jody! )

I think that I have been over here for too long. When I tried to think of famous people that I have seen my list made me laugh:
Jamel, Georges Moustaki, Jean Dujardin, and my friend Nathalie was absolutely "bouche bée" when Daniel Cohn-Bendit sat down across from us on the métro.
Oh, I did have drinks one night at le Café de la Paix with a group of musicians, (one of them was a boat neighbor), and Maryann Faithfull was there.
Jody, the rest of us don't hold a candle to you. You are obviously a star magnet.
