Has anyone bought the Pudlo Paris version in english yet? If so, is it worth it? Has anyone used the French only versions of before? Are they worth buying?

I ordered it yesterday from Amazon. It should arrive by the end of next week. Will post a review once I have had a chance to look at it.

I don't trust Pudlowski . I have read a lot from him : he is from my area and so he wrote a guide about Alsace and Lorraine (I own an old version of it) and he also writes a restaurants review every Sunday in the local paper . My problem with him is that he picks up a few restaurants that he loves (why does he pick those specific ones, there is some talking about that ...) and writes frequent and raving revues about them . And believe me, those restaurants that we ate in aren't worth the praise .... Now, if you keep in mind to be wary about his raves, his guide can be useful to get information such as examples of what is on a restaurant's menu : his guide is more informative in that regard than the Michelin for example .

I don't own the Pudlo guide, although I've looked through it a number of times over the last few years. I will say that every experience I've had in a restaurant or food store displaying his window sticker has been extremely positive.
