The local art house has Avenue Montaigne opening tonight. I am wondering if anyone has seen it, and their opinion. My wife is out of town on business, so I'm thinking I will go tonight. That, or I'll tackle my trip report. I left all my notes at work, and I'm still unburying my desk, so even though I'm the boss, I don't think I will have time to do it there. Although it would be fun to have the 1st one in the new category.

Yes, it's very cute. It's not a heavy French film by any means, and it's not "great cinema", but it's good! I wish it showed a bit more of Paris, but helas...
My students get extra credit for going to see it. I'm such a pushover!

I definitely thought it was worth seeing. I agree with Les' comments about the film. It just made for a nice, pleasant evening out.
