Hey all -- I was rifling around the SNCF site looking for any updated strike information, and stumbled across something pretty interesting: a) La Radio SNCF -- there's an online radio station that's broadcast by SNCF -- it's accessible by mobile phone, too -- and they broadcast up-to-the minute SNCF/RATP travel information every 15 minutes, as well as ticket promos, spotlights on different destinations, etc. laradio.sncf.com/decouvrir_la_radio_sncf.html Apps are available for iPhone and Blackberry, of course. b) Podcast of books in French! Every month, they upload audio books onto the site that you can download and listen to...for free! Great way to work on your French oral comprehension, too. They even do kids' books, and lots of previous titles are available in the archive. podcast-litteraire.sncf.com/ (iPhone and Blackberry apps available, natch)
