One week...

Hi All,
Just reading about geordy's, jo's and roniece's adventures, and now gitte, jody, darcy and melj are ready to go to Paris. Wow, started having a bit o Paris withdrawl and just a second of "what was I thinking to be going to France and not go to Paris"! ;D
But...I've calmed down after thinking of discovering Lyon and seeing the blue med in Nice...one more week til I leave! Yipeee.
So, please keep those Paris reports coming! I am so happy for all of you who are blessed to be there...I will wave and blow a kiss as our train passes by. And I will share our south of France TR upon our return.

Sis , I know it will be weird to be there and not in Paris but you will love Nice and Lyon...my trip to Lyon was cut short by a day so I need to go back!

Oh I was just kidding! While it will feel a bit strange to fly into CDG and not go to Paris, I am really looking forward to this trip. I've been super busy at work and I'm really looking forward to spending some relaxing time with Mister SisterE. As most of you know, I work for an economic policy think tank in DC. I am SO aware of how very lucky I am to be able to afford this trip when SO many in this country are really struggling (and even I couldn't have managed without FF miles). So yes, I will enjoy, and recognize my good fortunes..AND have Mister SE buy me a scarf or 2 ;D
