I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I figured out avatars!! susanb..it's easy! I feel like Einstein! I also just saw that, somehow, I am newly designated a "full member". I don't know what I did to attain that lofty goal, but my day is made and it's only 8:15 am. Yippeeee!

That's funny, Shoesy, because she sent me a pm saying we were in the same "dummy" boat, technologically. Okay: Go to ANY of your posts. Click on your name. It will bring up the page to edit your profile. In the middle of the page it prompts you to do everything. Really very simple, even though it took me two days to get it. (I comfort myself by knowing that you guys haven't gotten it yet  ) |

Shoesy and susanb...I forgot one step in doing the avatar. After you click on your name and it opens up the next screen, look for "Modify Profile" in the middle of the top. Click on that and then the next page opens up to modify your personal info and add an avatar. You can also add a quote to be shown under your avatar. This is actually fun when you get the hang of it.

I experimented with your instructions, H.G., and I actually get it. However, I think I'm going to want an avatar (I love that word!!!) that isn't on the list, so I'll require my son's help. I'll think about it.

I think Gitte's were Nutte and Hans or something like that. I'd also like an avatar that is not on the list, but I'm thankful that I have one at all, so I'll settle for that for a few days.

I think you're right, Shoesy. We'll have to wait for Gitte to remind us who Nutte's neighbor is. Congratulations on the avatar thing. I hope susanb has some luck. They're fun. I am going to change my quote daily...that's fun too. I like this forum!

sistereurope...someone much smarter than I am wrote complete instructions...I've just gone crazy looking for them and can't find which thread they're in. Keep looking...it's here someplace, although I think that if you go into "modify profile" it might prompt you if you have the url.
