Plz help....I need An apt in no 16

I need an a flat very close to rue de lacroix 75116 or rue de la pompe metro, furnished or half furnished at a reasonable price for more than 3-6 months, for 2-3 ppl by 1st of october 2010. Please help.

The agency charges more than the rent as a fee besides twice the rent as a security deposit.

Is there a way to rent directly from the owner?

Does it absolutely have to be in the 16th? It is so easy to get around in Paris by Metro and Bus. Would also be useful to know what amount you consider reasonable and whether the two to three people can share beds and/or rooms.

Along with VRBO, there is HomeAway for direct contact with owner. Other agencies actually give a discount for long stays but some do not handle rentals in the 16th.

I agree with Holger. It would help to know your exact budget. The 16th is a very pricey neighborhood. Transportation is so easy and inexpensive you could stay anywhere and get to where yuu have to be easily

I am still confused. Is the budget for 3 months, per month or what? Also just how many beds/rooms do you need? There is just a wee bit more than a month prior to your requiring an
apartment which creates more restrictions especially when limiting your street and metro as narrowly as you are doing.

There are some great apartments like the one offered by our own LuckyLuc. There are other agencies that would not ask for all the security and upfront rents.
