Looks great! I always just ask for a" un carnet, SVP". It will always be 10 tickets! And I quite agree, a trip to Paris for me is incomplete if I don't go to Vanves! I always manage to find some thing I really "need"!!!

Good list! The thing I recommend to friends that they do on their first day is to buy "Le Petit Parisien, 3 Plans par Arrondissement". It's a gold mine of information and can prevent a lot of husband/wife arguments like 'where are we?', 'which way do we go?' I suggest that you advise people to be aware of the 'gold ring' and the 'leather coat' scams. Also for people whose trip corresponds to the week Mon to Sun (or close), the weekly Metro pass can't be beat for convenience. Remind them to take a 1" square passport type photo with them to Paris because the auto photo booth will likely be out of service when they need it, just like the public WC. The last time I rode the Batobus, a couple of years ago, I got a discount because I had the weekly pass. I hope it's still in effect.
