Recommendation: Hotel les degres de notre dame

I think somewhere in the Profile section you have to opt to have PM and bookmark notifications e-mailed to you or not I did mine over 3 years ago so don't recall.......but once you bookmark something when you click on your profile "bookmarks" will show up on the top line and when you click it you will get a listing of the threads you've bookmarked.

No Jools , don't know those hotels..I think George stayed at..and liked the El Dorado..and someone else was going there They will pop up!

Well after much fraught deliberation I have finally booked my hotel: Villa Opera Lamartine, in the St Georges area I think. The poet of the same name once lived here apparently and it's not far a trek from St Cloud where the festival is, on echnage on the metro.

Looks rather lovely and a snip at 65 euros a night for a superior double in August. I've been past it on the bus once but I'm looking forward to exploring the area and following Laidback's excellent quartier guide. Will report back! 3 days to go!

Yeah, it's a steal isn't it? Shame about Eldorado though. My email bounced and tried their number too, not recognised. I'd be interested to know if it's still going.
