Ok Guys. We are both deep in the middle of PPD and for a laugh we got on the Web and started looking at apartments for, believe it or not Oct 2111. It keeps us happy to see lots of pics of Paris anyway so it's fun.
we have been scanning agencies and found a nice place in Rue Truffaut. It seems cheap at 500 euros per week so I got suspicious as if it is" too good to be true then it usually is".The agency is Beau Paris. Anyone ever heard of it? any bad reports about it?
As we have about 16 months before we can go time is not of the essence but any help would be appreciated.

October 2011 seems almost like tomorrow compared to my 2013 trip. The truth is that I have absolutely no idea when I'll get to go to Paris again, so I've come up with 2013 as a potential year.

None of us OPFers, and not even our kids, will be going in 2111.

None of us OPFers, and not even our kids, will be going in 2111. Don't be so sure. According to a news report, Our Beloved Prime Minister has been channelling government funds - apart from his own contributions - to an institute dedicated to research on extending longevity, his aim is to live at least 120 years (hits head repeatedly against wall ) Sooner or later the technology will be available for lesser mortals too. So we can all wobble around Paris with our walkers.

Ye Gods and little fishes. One typo and you lot roll about on the floor giggling like mad. NEXT YEAR! LOL.
Anyhow, Shoesy, my dear, some of us already eat macarons with false teeth and it doesn't change the taste one wee bit.I am sure that you will be back before 2013. In fact I bet a tiny seed has been placed in your head and the months are already winding down to 2012 and next week it will be 2011. I hope so anyway as I want to meet you in Paris.

How sweet of you, George ! The truth is that I have no idea whatsoever when my next trip will be, and in the meantime, I remain blissfully grateful for having had the opportunity to visit Paris less than a year after my 2009 trip.

Suzanne - should I send someone to extend an offer to your husband that he CANNOT refuse? I'd like to see you again and in Paris this time!
George - maybe we can meet next year! You and Stella would be fun to be with! But I am ssure that 2111 is not possible for me. LOL!!!!

This is so weird. I sneaked a peak at Expedia today at work and saw unbelievable fares on United of $671.00 RT from Los Angeles. I rushed home thinking WOW he won't argue with this. Guess what, they are not there now. Back up to nearly $1000.00. Perhaps I was just day dreaming too much. Really, I swear. I saw those fares. I should have grabbed them then and there. DRAT.

Get him to commit to a price then just keep looking!
I had the oposite experience today booking Eurostar tickets London-Paris-London
Put in my order and it was $258.00 for 2 RT tickets. THen pushed the submit button and got a message the price had changed and was now $216.00. Nice surprise!
