Last April a good friend of mine had an very different and interesting lunch at the restaurant Pomze, near les Grands Boulevards. Situated in an preserved apartement the entire menu is about Pommes (apples). She really like the inventive cooking and she will be going back. Have a look at the website: www.pomze.com/

Thanks, Luc. I just checked the website and liked the menu options. It really looks very inventive and interesting. Will add it to the list.

I read about Pomze in one of the foodie magazines about 6 months ago and thought it sounded unique. Thanx for the info.

Hi, I visited Pomze in December 2005. I could not remember the location of the shop but looking at their website it is definitely the same one. We tried a couple of apple drinks and apple desserts which were very nice. We bought a jar of conserve to bring home. It comes with an apple on top of the jar (a little bruised by the time we got home!!) We sat in the window people watching. If you like apples, it sure is the place to be. :D

Thanks Rosie -- it's always fun to hear more from people who have been to places that are currently trendy (to get another view on what the noise is all about!). How did you happen to find it?

This restaurant seems very unique, and I like the apple gimmick. Hmmm..........it seems like the chef is an Israeli ( his name). Well, it's a definite maybe on my list. I bet a number of you try it out way before I go to Paris, so I'll be able to hear many opinions from friends.

Becky
I think I saw an advertisement in a new guide that we had. It appealed to us so we thought we would try it. I remember walking up/down a very long street to finally get to it. I had started to think that it probably didn't exist but eventually found it. It was only a small place but it was really good

I too read an article on this place not so long ago, it does sound an interesting concept for the apple fanatic........our to-do lists will never go down at this rate.
