I have tickets at the Opera Bastille, the performance begins at 7:30. I'd like to grab a quick bite beforehand, rather than when the performance lets out, which I imagine would be near 10 pm. Is there any nearby bistro that would be open at 7 pm, or serves food continuously? Thanks!

Can't remember the name but right across from the Opera are 2 large bistros with continuous service. One has a large terrace and a red awning! Have had lunch there and it was fine

Thanks, Jody! Just confirming - these places are across from the Opera Bastille, right? Not the Garnier -

Thanks very much! Maybe I will check out one of the red awning places or Le Grandes Marches.

I live at the Bastille, so since bistros don't serve that early, I would recommend the Cafe des Phares which is the choice of Bastille locals. Jody is referring to the Café Français and the Lounge Bar and they would also be good choices. We have enjoyed all three of these cafés over the years. Look at the menus posted outside and decide.
Maybe Lucky Luc has been to Les Grandes Marches, and can recommend it. We have not eaten there.
Have a wonderful time at the opera.

I've also been to all three over the years..and for a "quick bite" as you say any should serve you well..salades, crepes, quiches, sandwiches, deserts, etc.
Haven't been to Les Grandes Marches either but wouldn't mind hearing about it! I'd avoid Hippopotamus....had one ill advised meal there...different locale... years ago...kind of children's steak
As an aside...when we have opera/ballet/etc tickets we often have a big lunch, drink/snack before, and then head to a Brasserie or 24 hr Cafe afterwards for seafood platter/oysters, soup, assiette plate, sandwiches, cheese, pate, deserts, whatever..

Thanks to everyone, I've made notes of the suggestions. We may end up opting for a large lunch and then a drink and snack afterwards. Any wine bars close by? Also, has anyone heard of Cafe du Passage? On the rue de Charonne?
