Hello everyone! We are planning a first trip to Paris in September with another couple. We have reserved this apt but I have a couple of concerns including the top floor location with no central AC and the apparent low ceilings because of the top floor location. Any other input would be appreciated, thanks! www.vrbo.com/124960

Cigalechanta has rented this apartment before, and I seriously considered it for our trip next month. I don't think the ceilings are low, they just aren't extra high like many in Paris are. They probably appear lower in the photos than they actually are because of the wide-angle photography. As for AC, you're lucky to have a unit in the living room! Most apartments in Paris don't have any at all, and I don't think there is any central air unless you're in a hotel. You shouldn't need it in September at any rate.
I think the location is great for a first visit--you'll be right near so many conveniences and sites. It's nice, too, that the owner offers cell phones for your use! That could really come in handy with 2 couples traveling together. And the place looks very clean!!

Love the apt and the area. I agree with Annette , I think the ceilings appear lower due to the camera angle. And you get weekly maid service., sounds extra good! AC probably won't be needed at night in Sept

Great, thanks for the responses everyone! It's a little nerve racking renting sight unseen but these comments help.
Thanks again!
