You poor thing, Suzanne. That's quite a hassle to have to endure, but I'm sure that it will not prevent you from planning any future trips. I bet that soon you will have forgotten the unpleasantness, and only the good experiences will remain in your thoughts.

You are so right Shoesy. I'm comparing it to childbirth which I swore I'd never do again either. LOL. After a decent nights sleep I am much less bitter this morning. Our missing luggage was blamed on a broken conveyor belt. However, this morning we are told it is in Munich.

Suzanne, you're home already?!! Sorry you had such an ordeal getting back. We have a direct AF flight, so hopefully won't be a problem. Wasn't too big a deal last month.

:)Sorry to read you awful sage of your trip home Suzanne. Glad you are now back home and laughed at your analogy to childbirth,
"never again" they shout which is soon forgotten in the pleasure of the moments and a year later they are back again!!
Our lost luggage from CGD ended up in Munich! do you think there is a plane that just takes luggage and no passengers?? LOL Strangly THAT was an Air France flight! We got it back three days later, no apology nothing!

Denise, Our luggage is also in Munich. Funny how that happened since we were told that the lost luggage was due to a broken conveyor belt. We were also told that they will not fly luggage without an attached passenger. LOL

Ok now I am getting a very funny mental picture of luggage with passenger attached and sitting in a storage barn. Seriously though, wonder why Munich? Is that perhaps a lost luggage collection center, or just a magnet for luggage mislaid from flights out of Paris?
