We are staying here www.vrbo.com/79965 for a month. It is very comfortable for us. There's a G20 grocery store at the end of the block, a bakery across the street, a cafe a couple of doors away. It's very convenient with the Lenoir/Bastille market just a few short blocks away. The Chemin Vert metro stop is only a block away as well as a bus stop. There is a big blue door accessed with a door code, into a courtyard, another door needing a key, a flight of stairs and the apartment door to the left. There is a big renovation going on outside redoing the whole exterior of the apartment building. It is quite a mess and the landlady gave us a break on the rent. Upon arrival, in the apartment were bottled water, wine, juice, soda, Lindt chocolate bars, a pack of nuts, fruit (3 apples, 2 pears, 3 plums, 3 kiwi, a couple of bananas) and Lu cookies. There were also tea, coffee, sugar, oil, vinegar, salt, spices in the cupboards. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. There are a lot of towels and linens; dirty ones are picked every Thursdays for washing and clean ones provided. This is our second time here. We like this apartment very much. Here are some pictures of the inside. You enter and there is the kitchen/ eating area. ...into the sitting room. ...and then into the bedroom In addition, the toilet is separate from the bathroom. There is also a storage closet and plenty of storage in the bedroom. We are happy here.

Yes, Roniece. It sure does.
No landline though, but we have our own mobile phone. The television has english channels as well.
We return to this apartment in October......and can hardly wait. And here we are still in Venice....

We are booked to arrive on October 11, 2010 for 37 days, then we will take an overnight train to Venice to complete our 90 days in Europe. We love both cities for different reasons. We booked this apartment in Venice - www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/p435101 . Currently we are staying in the apartment above, so we know this area pretty well now.

Both apartments look fabulous! I hope you're making enough notes...a 90 day trip report would be appreciated.

Beautiful apartment, how is the bath / wc on size? Reason I ask, we are planning a trip, looking like it will have to be fall...and my DH (Dear Husband) is six foot five. We'd prefer a full sized tub with show, would settle for a good sized tub with hand held. Made the mistake on a trip to Colorado of accepting one of these tiny half tubs with shower. It was like King Kong taking a bath in a playground puddle. Very amusing to watch, but not at all happy for him, and I would like for him to love Paris as much as I.

Decent. However the owner is currently remodeling the apartment, so check to see if the bathroom is being redone as well.
The toilet is in a separate room. The bathroom has a full sized tub with overhead/handheld combo shower head. The shower head height is adjustable, so your tall husband should be okay.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the bathroom but it worked great for us.
Hope this help.

gertie, I just looked at the owner's vrbo website pictures. The bathroom picture is the left side of the bathroom. The unseen right side: about a meter wide floor-to-cealing wall to separate the sink from the tub and helps contain the water splash.
