Its ArtHome, a fairly new installation at the Palais de Tokyo. It is a glass dining room that seats 12 and is suspended by a crane above the alais de Tokyo. I know a lot of you will be in town soon. It will be too late to get reservations (30 days out) BUT you can go on a tour. They're free and easy to reserve. I only booked today and was able to get 5 places for this Sunday. www.art-home-electrolux.com

I saw a story about this on the national news about two months ago. It's apparently the newest thing in tourism/restaurants. More are planned in other cities around the world.

Yes, well, we went and it was cool to visit, but some false advertising, because the "box" was NOT suspended, but was resting out on the roof. The views et al were still stupendous, just not the thrill I had hoped for. It looks like they took the structure that had been a hotel room last year and converted it into this dining room.
Reservations for dinners become available at 10am, 30 days out. If you're going to be in Paris, it would be worth trying to enjoy a dinner in such a unique venue.

It certainly sounds interesting. Where is the food prepared before being brought to the box?
