tore, Yes I've had dinner there and itwas very good. There were 6 of us and we all liked our meal. The surroundings are very lovely. I think a group from this forum had a GTG there. In fact I think that is where I got the name. Sorry for my stupidity, but what is GTG ?

GTG is short for "get-together".

Hi to snowy Sweden from still summery Israel ! Sorry that I can't answer your question, but I wish you a fantastic trip, and I hope your wife appreciates the surprises that are in store for her.

Well folks, I have one more question for you travellers out there; I would very much like to visit a place where to taste and see some FRENCH CHEESE-GOURMET. Anyone ? Tore, you'll find cheese stalls on all markets. Or you can visit fromagers shops, Quatrehomme is very reputed (62 rue de Sèvres, 7th arr), as is Androuet (several addresses, see the website) androuet.com/boutiques/androuet-fromager-adresses-des-fromageries.html?PHPSESSID=ebe3eccdd219e81cdf4571ebd0c7ba7eIn all these places, you can ask for guidance, you can ask to taste a little bit of some cheeses (usually they will offer it spontaneously), and of course they can prepare a cheese platter that will suite your tastes, for a picnic for example since I read that you won't be staying in an appt. I saw on the link that Androuet even has shops at CDG airport, where I assume (hope ;D !) that the cheeses are vacuum-packed for the trip back home.
