Hello everyone!
We'll be visiting Paris next week and we want to know if we can have access to the Internet on Street InfoPoints. We know that something similar exists in Vienna but we couldn't find the infos about Paris.

I think that the larger parks and the public libraries have free WiFi

I know that there was free WiFi at Place des Voges because I used it last year. We saw many signs for free WiFi all over public spots in Paris and I've read that every MacDonalds has free WiFi.

Ramona, go to www.Mappy.fr and type in a Paris address. Then in the toolbar on the left, click "Pratique" and you'll get a new set of icons. Find and click on "Hotspots WiFi" and voila!

I think the Starbucks have free WiFi also - at least the one on Montorgueil does because a new friend of mine in Paris uses that one all the time.

I think that the wifi at Starbucks requires payment, unlike McDonald's and Quick. However, there are now hundreds of cafés in Paris with free wifi -- there is a special logo that you can often see on their awnings.
