Chers amis,
We'd love to know what you think about our blog entries. Admittedly, we've been a bit slow in adding new articles, but now that we have more readers we'll try to be more active. What would you like to know? What is interesting to you? What questions would you like to ask? What can you get from a blog entry that you can't get from the forum? All input is VERY welcome!!

Truffaut, I am very impressed with your blogs and our good friend Luc even encouraged me to try my hand myself on one someday. BUT they all look so glittery and professional (in a positive sense) that I think I had better not. In fact in the beginning it was the blogs that scared me off a bit, because they can give the impression that this place is for "connaisseurs" on a very high level only - who have all the "facts and figures" ready in their head - and NO silly questions allowed in here, s.v.p. What a snobby, pretentious, pompous lot they are, I thought. BUT after re-reading AND especially after realising how dull and uninteresting TA has become without you the "real" Paris savants - well, I guess I can live with it.....
=o)
To me it is important that the blogs DO keep their level of in-depth information and tell some interesting stories not easily found elsewhere - AND have all these lovely photos attached, BUT also that they DO "keep their balance", so that we can attract all sorts of travelers. This is difficult to describe, but I hope you get my meaning. Keep up the good work !

I really enjoy the blogs and the information they contain. Have learned a great deal that will inform my trip in August-September. They are super professional and I love the pictures. But they are a bit intimidating in terms of trying to post one myself since I am really only semi-literate on computers. But I really appreciate the professionalism of others. So I am looking forward to more blogs. Would love more on shopping and restaurants and Gitte, on your "hidden" walks. Our Paris has now become my first check when I get up in the early A.M.

Gitte, That's an interesting point of view. Now that you've said it, I can see how it could seem too exclusive. I'll put some thought into that. Also, I've added a section about "Paris Insider Secrets" as you requested.

How wonderful - and I am so glad that you did not read my comment as just "sour faced and critical". It is not an easy balance, because the last thing I would want is our blogs to sink to the Rick Steves-level, just to please mass-tourism. You know: What can be worth seeing beyond the 1st to the 7th arr........ That must NEVER happen ! But also we must not become a University College Debate Society. Ooooh, you have picked yourself a tough job, my young friend !
