LOL ! Give me a year and I will not be finished listing "the most beautiful places"........ let alone visiting them. I am afraid there is no adequate answer to your question.
For starters you could browse the sections "Quartier by Quartier" and "Paris Trip Reports" to see if you find anything you like in particular.
There is really no other way - besides of course: arriving in Paris and start picking up the gemstones. Have faith: they are everywhere.

Hi there, new poster! I assume that you're already familiar with the major attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, etc. One place that may not be listed as one of the top 10 sights is Sainte Chapelle, but I highly recommend it. It's a Gothic chapel, and it's known for it's beautiful stained-glass windows. It's stunning if visited on a sunny day.

Welcome aboard Travelon. I think you will get more specific answers if you tell us how many days you have in Paris, your personal interests (museum?, parks?, favorite history period?) your physical capacity (can you climb 300 steps?) and what you know or expect already from Paris. Becauses as Gitte mentionned there is a treasure every time you turn your head!
