Your trip reports all sound fantastic!
I have to brag a little bit, though -- supper tonight was the left-over marinated, grilled lamb and vegetables from dinner with friends last night -- I mixed the lamb and veg with the tomatoes, cucumbers, and Greek olives that I saved from the salad (the lettuce was a lost cause) -- added a squeeze of lemon, a drizzle of the lovely Umbrian olive oil I bought when we were in Perugia last month, and a sprinkle of fleur de sel de Guerande, as well as a little crumbled Feta, and the last of the couscous, for a really lovely cool salad.
A lovely chilled bottle of Touraine rose, a table in the garden watching the sun paint colors across the sky...
