Darn, I was hoping she was reading while we were there!! I do plan to buy the book while in Paris, I've read all the others (thanks to Gitte) but I can't find her latest here in Canada and I'm too lazy to order it online. Anyways, what better time to read it than while we are in Paris!

I've read two of her books now (Murder in the Sentier, and Murder on Ile St. Louis). I'm trying to decide which one to order next to read on my trip! Does anyone have a particular favorite they'd recommend? The one set on Ile St. Louis is my favorite thus far, but I'm sorta glad I'm not reading it while we'll be there. If it was fresh in my mind I might be a little spooked walking past Square Barye after dark!

I've read them in order of publication date so I'd suggest getting the earliest you haven't read because as you've probably noticed she does sometimes reference past events. Just makes things easier and "completes" her( Aimee's) background/bio.

Hi, I enjoyed seeing the video. I've got them all (the books). Just finished Murder in the Latin Quarter. I'd have to say I liked the first one, "Murder in the Marais" best. "Murder in the Sentier" comes in a close 2nd. This book got me interested in the 2nd arrondisemnent which was a place we'd never been. We've now become somewhat regular visitors.

hehe...I thought I was starting with the first one when I ordered Murder in the Sentier! I figured out pretty quickly that Amazon got me messed up! So I figured "what the heck" and got the one on the island because I knew we'd be staying there soon. I think I will order Murder in the Marais next. I'm sure it will fill in some bits and pieces of her bio that I haven't figured out yet! Thanks.
