This exhibition at La Bibliothèque Nationale (Richelieu site) sounds very exciting ! Photos throughout the ages which have caused legal proceedings, scandals, controversies like e.g. Benetton's kissing nun. Or pictures which have been manipulated to make history. See for instance this picture from the 1930's showing Stalin in Moscow with Voroshilov, Molotov and Iejov. On the picture below from the 1940's Iejov has strangely disappeared. Click to find more exhibition info CONTROVERSESBibliothèque Nationale de France, site Richelieu. 58, rue de Richelieu 75 002 Paris Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-19:00 Sundays from 12:00-19:00 Runs until 24 May 2009. Mossie, there seem also to be items on display, specifically aimed at pleasing the hussars........ Angelina Joli letting her hair down.........

Great collection of photos, Gitte. There's nothing like a good scandal to get our juices flowing.
