Hi everyone - It's been a while! Can anyone give me some feedback about RentParis.com? I saw an apartment that I liked but I have no experience dealing with them. Any advice and info greatly appreciated.
- also -
I think I am moving ahead to actually taking my Mom to Paris this Sept or Oct and would like to find an apt that is really centrally located, building with an elevator, or ground floor (Mom is 84) and has 1 bedroom for her with a good sofabed for me. I would really like to have a full oven as we will be cooking a lot. I hate microwaves. We are on a budget, so price is a concern. Budget for me is 115 Euros or no more than $200 CAN a night. If it was less, that would be even better. Thanks for any input.

Hi Leslie, and welcome to the forum. To get to your question, the two agencies that get consistently good reviews and are (IMO) less expensive than the others, are centreparis.com and vacationinparis.com. Several forum members have used each of these agencies and were pleased with the apartments.
I've used VIP five times, all successfully. Have a look at the apts both agencies offer and post a request for information about that specific apt. Chances are, someone here will have some info for you.
If you haven't bought your airfare tickets yet, have a look at 1800flyeurope.com. Their prices can be very good.

I would certainly take a look at the aartments managed by Gail at perfectlyparis.com
She has several that are in elevator buildings. She responds quickly to e-mails and if you let her know your needs can suggest those that best fit them.
We just stayed in one of hers and Gite and Laidback have also used her agency.
Ours was up one flight of stairs and we are both in our 70s and managed fine. Great location for transportation and shopping for food.
Some of her one bedrooms would work well for you and ought to be in your price range. We had a two bedroom which was what we wanted.
