Has anyone heard any advance reviews on this? It's on at the Folies Bergeres in the fall when I'll be there. It is currently in London. Was wondering if it was worth seeing. Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard a thing but I always loved Zorro! From the TV show my brother slashed Z's all over our house , including in the wall paper(ouch..couldn't understand at the time why my parents were so upet ;D )..They stayed for many years until the wallpaper came off and walls were painted!

Well, as much as I'd love to see another show at the FB, I think we've decided not to. None of us knows the Zorro story. I knew Cabaret, so it didn't matter that it was in French. It is one of my favorite memories of Paris, that show. At any rate, for the price, I think we'll take a pass on Zorro...

I did read that Zorro will be produced by Stage Entertainment, who did the Roi Lion and Cabaret. It will be on music from he Gyspies King. Judging from the London production the choregraphy should be exciting. Since it is a rather uncomplicated story I don't think one need to understand French that much to enjoyed it.
I do enjoy Paris selection of plays, concerts, operas, ballets and stand up comic. To see Cyrano at the Comédie française bring me out of myself. But I just wish that there woud also be a good selection of musicals like London have to offer. Oh well, I guess that is why they invented the Eurostar!

Thanks, Luc. There is a short YouTube clip on the FB website from the Zorro. The music on the clip is what would make me go to the show, even without understanding each word. It looks fantastic!
But I'm traveling with two others who aren't as keen as I am about going. And the ticket price is too steep to ask them to take a leap of faith.
