We are starting to gather information for our trip in May...boy it is it a lot of information!
We are flying into CDG and right now we are staying at Le Meridian Montparnasse and it looks like we will need to change trains a few times.
can anyone give me the best way to get to our hotel from the airport?
thank you! Leslie

I think the metro from CDG to Montparnasse would be a hideous nightmare with lots of luggage. There are some airport bus options (sorry I don't have more specific information, but I'm sure someone will) that would probably be better.

Hi there I'd have to agree with Truffaut that the metro is not a great option for transferring CDG to Montparnasse. If I were you I'd go with the Air France coach, not least because it's final stop is right across the road from your hotel! It takes a bit longer than the metro (it stops at Gare de Lyon first) and it's a bit more expensive but well worth it for the convenience of not having to make any connections and they stow your luggage for you. Website is here, and it's line 4 you're interested in. videocdn.airfrance.com/cars-airfrance/index_en.htmlHope this helps Laura x

The Air France bus stops at Gare Montparnasse. It would be a short cab ride to your hotel. You might even be able to walk (I don't know where exactly your hotel is). Have a look at the web site: roissy-cdg.airport-paris.com/bus-transfer.htmLaura, I just realized that this may be a duplicate of your post. If it is, I apologize.

No worries, Happygoin. Great minds think alike! ;D The Air France bus actually stops on Rue Commandant Mouchotte (spelling?) which is the same street as the OP's hotel so no taxi ride required. Laura x

The Air France bus stops there because the Méridien chain used to belong to Air France. Definitely the best transportation option in this case.

Ok, I looked at the Air France and you are right, that would be less of a hassle to take to and from the airport and then just get an all use metro pass for within Paris for everything else.
