This is the hotel where Anne & I stayed in London which is a budget hotel, very basic room but very clean and comfortable - St Pancras Train Station is in the background.

I'm going to critique my own handi-work - this pic is too large so will try again using the medium size instead of large - thanks for bearing with me.

Sandy, I disagree - this is a perfect size picture (or is what I am seeing the result of your downsize?)

Sandy, I disagree - this is a perfect size picture (or is what I am seeing the result of your downsize?) Becky, I haven't downsized yet so this is the first pic that I posted - I have to be brave enough to go back to Photobucket and try again - I am not technically savy on the computer and it makes me a bit nervous - Gitte gave me good instructions and as soon as I used the "old uploader" on Photobucket, things began to make sense as I wasn't finding any of the options that Gitte was talking about on the "new uploader" the old one is much easier. I have been wanting to be able to post pictures for a long time so I feel good about getting closer to doing so. Sandy M

I never had friends calling from America before - or anywhere else outside Denmark for that matter !! Now I have had France, the US, the UK, Israel and Australia !! (How could I forget you, Anne..... )

Sandy - I agree with Becky. what I am seeing looks perfect. Katharine Katharine, Maybe it's just MY computer that shows the pictures so big - Gitte said it looked fine to her and now you and Becky say that it looks fine - I may just run over to the library and check the forum from the computer there and see what it looks like. Thanks for all your input. Sandy M

Sandy, when you go to photobucket again and do a new resizing, you can always choose "Save a copy" instead of "Replace original" - that will give you a bit more peace-of-mind in your experiments.

Sandy - it certainly looks a lot bigger now in the thread than it did when you sent it to me in the private message.

I never had friends calling from America before - or anywhere else outside Denmark for that matter !! Now I have had the US, the UK, Israel and Australia !! It is pretty amazing - without the Internet and this forum, the phone conversation we had this afternoon would never have happened!! You gotta love it!! Just had another thought - you remember how the waiters at Gordy's thought that we were all long time friends?? Well, we were because of our knowing one another on OPF - and then to meet in person and have such a camaraderie - truly amazing. Denise mentioned a couple of times in London how great it was that so many people from different countries and cultures could even get together let alone get along together so well!! Really wonderful and I'm looking forward to another GTG!!

It doesn't really matter. Thanks to certain people (who shall remain nameless) who consistently insisted on using giant photographs, I've now put in secret coding to automatically re-size photos that are posted in threads. Mwaaa haaa haaa!!!
