Bonjour, just wondering if some of our worldly travelers have had any travel or living experience down south, specifically in "Perpignan" near the Mediterrean. Always looking to hear from those who had the real life experience, good or bad. Just searching out new places for new ideas. merci...

The guy that ran Metropole Paris (Ric somebody) just moved to the south. I can't remember the name of the town, but for some reason Perpignan rings a bell. Apparently, he's blogging about it. I think I read about it in the most recent Secrets of Paris newsletter. Might be worth checking out.

I think I've read that...in any event, we missed Perpignan but visited all around. From what I've heard, it's a whole different vibe from Paris.
