I have been reccomended this website by a fellow budget Traveller who assures me that they have never had a dud hotel on there. I would not pass it on if I did not trust him so I hope that this is of interest to any of us planning a budget trip!

The independent editors of the website show up unannounced at budget hotels all over Europe including Paris and check out the rooms, get a feel for the place. If they like it, they write a review . He swears by it - and says that they are all centrally located I have personally stayed at one of the hotels that they mention in Rome on here and the review is spot on - it was a great bargain !
