Retromobile 2009 - crazy about old cars ?

The RETROMOBILE exhibition takes place this year 6. - 15. February at Paris Expo, Porte des Versailles.





And what a nice location that is - for trying out the tramway and for lunch at e.g. La Régalade, which is only 5 tramway stops further east. Or perhaps Le 14 Juillet in Rue Didot - a street worth exploring in its own right, with small alleys on both sides with artistes' studios.

I thought perhaps Gitte had her eye on a new car, that looks to be a very fashionable colour ;D

Oh, wish my boys could be there for that! My son-in-law's Dad has a car that looks just like this one, or at least very close. It's a '32 Ford something-or-other. My son-in-law has a '36 Ford pickup that he found in a field and started restoring when he was only 11. There's definitely a soft spot for "retromobiles" in our family.
