Just saw an article on another blog about a Raoul Dufy exhibit at the Palais de Tokyo,. Wish I'd known about this when we were in Paris last month. Maybe some of our Dec visitors will go and then report back to the PPD sufferers here. www.theparisblog.com

Willow, evenwithout the Dufy exhibit, if you have not been to the Palais de Tokyo, it is worth a visit in itself. Outside the view over the Seine is where I waqnt to live!

:)We were there on Tuesday. Unlike the lady on the blog were were not skipping about with glee when it snowed but we took the opportunity to go to the Musee d'Art Modern de la ville on Ave President Wilson. I will post more pictures in my trip reports. The Raoul Dufy exhibit is part of the permanent collection and is actually a round room with a hugh mural on three walls depicting the history of Paris (or France I am not sure) When you enter the effect is awe inspiring, so much work has gone into the piece and it has a strange blue light effect almost as if it is lit up from behind, although it is not. My pictures are quite dark as I could not use a flash and of course I could not capture the whole effect of the room in one picture but this is the best I could achieve.. Denise Love from england
