Can someone comment on the apartments rented through Frenchy Rentals? I have gotten great response time from her but was hoping for some first hand experience with their rentals. I am thinking about renting St. Lazare, 2 bedrooms. Has anyone stayed here? I really love the apartment through Perfectly Paris but my dates are not all available.
Thanks for any advice...

What specific question do you have? I have known Paula (the owner of Frenchy Rentals) for about 2 years and have checked out some of her apts. that we felt were large enough for long stays, St. Lazare, Dunkerque, etc.
The St. Lazare is roomy, well equipped and for my interests, very well located, i.e., close to good restaurants, cafés, boulangeries, markets, bus and metro stops. It is one of very few Paris apts. that have a separate washer and tumble dryer. My personal dislikes are that it is not on a high floor, which I prefer, and the color scheme of the large bathroom takes some getting used to.
We have rented it for the month of May.

Thanks! Well, I guess my only real question is if the rental agency is reliable. I do really like the St. Lazare location and most of the design of the apartment. I do agree that I was first taken aback by the bathroom, but I do like the idea of a separate shower and tub. I have been in enough tubs in France to know that having a regular shower stall for 6 weeks will be nice. My daugher, of course, thinks it's cool! Laidback... I would really appreciate you telling me about it when you return. You are going there in May of 2009? I will check out slowtrav.com Thank you!

You will find Paula, www.frenchyrentals.com , very reliable and responsive. She lives in the neighborhood and offers personal, personable service. For my wife and me, it is nice to have a separate tub and shower as she is a soaker and I am a sprayer. Yes, it is May 2009 that we have booked.

Let's just say, I wouldn't want to face that bathroom with a hangover . . . Other than that minor detail, it really looks great for a long stay.
