I went to see "Tell No One" tonight. Guillaume Canet's thriller set mostly in Paris, and the best movie I've seen this year. I know it came out some time ago, but French films take awhile to reach Nebraska. Anyone else see this one? It does have some scenes that could make a person squirm, some violence, but at it's core a love story. Although a pretty twisty one.

I read Harlan Coben's novel by the same name, and even though I can't remember the plot, I do remember that it was full of suspense.

My husband and I went to see this movie last weekend - pretty good one and we enjoyed it. There is a lot of suspense and twists and turns and as you said, Ray - ultimately a love story. I would recommend it.

Sounds like a good one..now all I need is a DVD player....I'm still on VCR (side effect of un/under employment! ) I always love your irony/sense of humor Ray!!! And too cute...of course Nebraska and Iowa got the film at the same time!!!

Ray -
My husband and I both thought that Tell No One was one of the best suspense films we've seen recently in any language. We also had great fun recognizing certain Paris locations, such as the Parc Monceau, and were glad the setting had been changed from the USA to France for the French film version of Harlan Coben's novel.

It was a wonderful film and Kristen Scott was wonderful as the lesbian friend. Living in France, married to a French doctor , she impressed me with her French. The entire cast were very good. The chase scene one of the best.
