Thank you Annette, I have visited the place many years ago and wasn't very impressed by it, found it a bit sad . Now they seem to have conducted quite a thorough work of renovation .
BTW, the guy who translates in English what the French men say has a very funny accent, I find it difficult to understand him . What accent is this ? I guess that I have become over-sensitive to accints since I met Migan ;D ...

Petit Trianon should not be seen separately from Le Hameau and Grand Trianon - and the surrounding gardens.
I find these 3 locations in the park to be the real highlights of a visit to Versailles, much more than the main castle. To me it is not so much a question of being impressed, but more of thinking back on the people who used to live here: what they felt and thought.
