OK, so our Parc Asterix trip has turned (surprise, surprise ;D ) into a Paris trip with a visit to the Parc. We have two nights in Paris on the 26th and 27th of October and I have three potential hotels (cancelled Orry-la Ville), 2 already booked and one which is looking very attractive. I need help deciding between:
1) Hotel Le Littre on Rue Littre is the most expensive but seems to have lots of space. 2) Hotel Vaneau Saint Germain on Rue Vaneau (don't remember why I booked it but maybe saw good reviews, I'm at the stage where I'm totally confused and sticking straws in my hair...) 3) Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche which I have just seen on TA and has a good offer for a triple room. Becky, I think you stayed there? This one looks very interesting also because of the location.
Advice please?

I would go for option # 3. I like the idea that it's most central, and it always gets such glowing reviews on TA.

Thank you, Shoesy, I've booked it. But hubby insisted that I email the hotel and ask for the measurements of the bathroom, and the hotel replied that they "don't know" the size of the bathroom (strange???) but the room is 12 sq.m. (it's a triple). I'm holding the booking for the moment but if the Littre' gives me the bathroom measurements and they're good (should be at the price!) we may stay there after all. I'm with you on the location but hubby is obviously traumatised by the cubby-hole we had last time ;D

Assuming all the triple rooms are laid out the same (not necessarily true, as they may vary from floor to floor) the triple should have a bath that's large by Paris standards. I did stay there, in the triple on the top floor, and the bathroom was very roomy by Paris standards (as was the room itself, not just a situation where three beds are crammed into the space meant for two). I would recommend it - very nice location, and good hotel.

Littre' has a 10 sq. m. bathroom. No contest On the other hand it *is* very convenient for Rue Vaugirard, Herme' here I come!
