This year we decided to do something completely different for vacation. Our usual vacation is a european destination. With the dollar being so weak, and realizing our kids had seen more countries in europe than states at home, we decided to see Alaska. We also did something I thought I would never do, take a cruise. I have to say I'm glad we did it! We really enjoyed our trip: lots of wildlife and incredible scenery. I did miss europe, but now I get to plan for next summer!!

That is so cool!
My brother went to Alaska and my boss did the cruise and they all loved it!
They said the views are amazing, but your right..it isn't Europe.
Now you can plan your Paris adventure and say it's been over a year since you got to go!

My mum and dad are going on an Alaska cruise next week -- they're very excited, as it's one of the smaller ships, and they're going with a small herd of their friends.
Next trip will have to be Paris, though -- they'll be coming to see us after we move next month!

And Muffya, glad you had a good time on your cruise! Nope, it's not Europe, but cruises are a nice way to travel too. |
