Irego, I see in your report on Fodor's that you've "seen" Cigalechanta here. Well....we'd LOVE to have you join in the fun! Sign up and let us meet you!  We walked around Batignolles during our last trip--the square, park, etc., and it's just as she says in her comments, very charming and village-like. I didn't hear anyone speaking English in that entire area. You really could get the "local" experience calling that area home base (and T's apartment is still on my list for "someday"!) |

What an excellent review, which I'm sure is not exaggerated at all ! Truffy's apt. is obviously a beaut, which is located in a gem of a neighborhood. Hmmm..... do they award Michelin stars for apts. in Paris? ;D

Thanks for posting that link, Demarais. We have Truffaut's apt. booked for May, so it was great to read that glowing review, and to read more about the area.

Touche!  Actually, we have the apt. May 6-14, so I think it is someone else you will have to challenge to the macaron duel. Your trip is a bit later, non? |

Yes, we are looking for May 16-24, but can't confirm yet due to a long, complicated story no one is interested in. I am hoping to have confirmation of our dates really soon so we can go ahead and book something! I will keep Doug's apartment in mind for next time (and there will be a next time!)
