Here's another puzzle I'm working on. I have a laminated Paris map that lacks the 13th and most of the 14th arr. They are apparently not deemed worthy of ones time?? At any rate, I think the Aligre is in the 14th? I remember that Ms. Anne, the Froggy Blogger wrote a nice piece that I cannot find for the life of me. Perhaps I'm being dim. Can anyone help with the location and/or directions? Thank you!

Rebonjour yourself, Luc. Thank you so much. I selfishly hope that no one else reads Anne's blog before December. I don't want the marche overrun with tourists. It sounds like a fairly easy walk from rue St Jacques, no?

Mappy give a 45 minutes walk but with the "look at that" and "of what is this?" it is more like a hour. So yes very easy pleasant walk. Our apartement is 15 minutes from there. You will be the only tourist!

Yikes...an hour you say? I'm only concerned because, if I buy all the things that look great at the market, I'll have a heavy load to walk an hour with on the way home...better plan on walking to and metro-ing home, I'd say. Thanks.
