On my recent trip I found it interesting that it's very easy to pick out English women and American men by their appearance. Here's my guide to the former:
Dressed in beachwear, normally: Sleeveless vest in a pastel colour, two sizes too small and a bit short Shorts in white or pastel colour, rather wrinkly and a bit grubby Flipflops sliding off feet
No makeup and fair skin showing signs of sunburn Large bag over one shoulder and at least two children Harassed expression

Gave me a laugh, Chic! Here in FL we can always tell the British tourist, they are all beet red and peeling and usually eating sweeties!
Also the men are usually wearing what we call muscle shirts, showing hairy arm pits!

I can pick out a Kiwi man
tattooed jandals 3/4 shorts Cap tshirt with rugby team on it
did I mention tattoos - there will be lots of those
and if they are under 25 and travelling - quite likely to be partying !
