Inserting a video is done along the exact same easy guidelines as inserting a photo. * Transfer video from your camera to computer (max. 100 MB, 5 minutes) * Open a new photobucket account for those videos, you want us all to see. ******* OBS ! I will not use my regular photobucket account, in case that meanyhead comes back who deleted all the beautiful avatar pics, which andiandgaz had placed in our commonly accessible account. * On top of the blank fields where you can upload photos, there is a blue line with 4 options, of which the first is "images from my PC" (this is the default set-up for photobucket) * The second option on this line is "video" * Upload exactly as you would do with a photo, nly a video require that you give it a name also * Inserting uploaded video into OPF posts = follow exactly same procedure as with photos If my colleague has sufficient pedagogical skills to explain to me, how to "shrink" big videos so that they become smaller than 100 MB, I will of course let you in on the secret. The problem with digital cameras (even my compact pocketsized Canon Powershot) is that the quality of the images and the resolution are so high that the videofiles get enormous, even if they are in fact rather short. My video of the Bal Musette is only 2½ minutes long - and still it came out as 208 MB .

Have you thought of using video compressors , there exists free licence programmes to code the video into a xvid format. You loose some quality especially if it is badly filmed but you can put up longer videos weighing less. It would have to be tried of course but I think that you will find that you could possibly upload videos of at least 15 minutes for the same weight .
